If you are a Globacom mobile user, and you are worried about the directive to link your phone number to your NIN, worry no more. It would interest you to know that GLO has arranged a simple process for doing this.

Step 1 (By SMS)

• Open your message box on your mobile phone

• Send “UPDATENIN NIN (Space) NIN (Space) First Name (Space) LastName to 109

Step 2 (By USSD Code)

• On your phone, dial *109*yourNIN#

• Follow the prompt that follows to submit your details

Step 3 (On the Glo Portal)

• Visit the online portal at http://mobileapp.gloworld.com/glonin/home

• On the page, enter your Name, Mobile Number, National Identity Number, and Email Address

• Then click on Submit

Use one of the steps listed above to link your NIN with your GLO phone number.

As a reminder, if you have forgotten your NIN even though you’ve already registered with NIMC, simply dial *346# to retrieve it.
