WHY
The GSM operators are the culprits and are responsible for this epileptic change in sender ID.
We are equally pained and disappointed in this latest development.
This is a part of the DO NOT DISTURB (DND) issues we’ve had to contend with since it was introduced more than 2 years ago.
“WHAT CAN I DO?”
We have gone a great length just to deliver the messages, but with just a tiny issue.
The only alternative to not getting SENDER ID as INFO to DND numbers is non delivery of the messages to them at all.
Please note that this change affects messages sent on the corporate route ONLY. So what can you do in the meantime?
- Use the basic route (option 1 under DND MANAGEMENT) when sending your messages. This means the recipients gets the message with your choice SENDER ID ,but DND numbers will be filtered out.
- Use the default option 2 that delivers to both DND and non DND numbers but include the SENDER ID in the body of the message too, so that DND numbers will know where it is coming from.
We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences this might cause you , and we assure you that we are already in contact with the operators and dynamic sender ID will be returned very soon for all the routes.
WHEN WILL IT BE RESOLVED?
We are working with the operators diligently to resolve this. While we can’t really give a particular time for resolution, we are sure it will be soon.
CONCLUSION
We appreciate your understanding, be sure that we have got your back.
