On the SmartSMSSolution platform, usernames are used for the following purposes: logging in to your account, indicating the account to credit with SMS units, as well as when contacting customer care agents to resolve issues on your account. Hence, in addition to passwords, usernames are a very important detail that all users need to remember all the time.

For any of the purposes mentioned above, it is important that you write the exact username. This is because, while each username is unique, some usernames can be similar. For example, there can be an account with username “hopeunited” and another account with the username “hopeunited22.” So if your username is hopeunited22, and you want to be credited, but you wrote “hopeunited,” the wrong account will likely be credited. 

Another area to watch out for is writing the username as separate words when it is one word (e.g. “hope united” instead of “hopeunited”) or writing it as one word when it is more than one word (e.g. “KHSAbuja” instead of “KHS Abuja”).

When the exact username is entered, written, or provided, it will greatly increase the speed at which issues are resolved.
